1993.01.16. AUD #1a, AUD #1b - ФЭЙКИ!
владельцам сайта nirvanaguide.com пришла ссылка на письмо, загруженное текстовым файликом на сервер yousendit.com. Оно от человека, склепавшего эти трэки и выдавшего их за отрывки с концерта в Сан Пауло. Привожу оригинал письма, кому нужно - переводите сами.

I just read Mike's appeal to the person who faked the 01/16/93 songs.
Well, this person is me and I sincerly like to apologize to everyone who took disadvantage by believing these songs were real.
My intentions were quite stupid to say the least. I wanted to create fake songs to make people come out of their hole and prove the opposite, something like: "No, School wasn't performed that way!" or "No friggin way that I hate myself or Eighties were played that night!" As dumb as it may sound, I wanted to help.
As soon as people started to believe it to be real, I felt really strange about it. On one hand I was really proud of making people believe my homemade stuff was the most sought after Nirvana concert ever, but I was also very sad for deceiting hundreds of people.
I know a lot of people at LN are tech nerds, so maybe some are interested in how I did the fakes. The drums are sequenced, plain samples of ordinary drums, the bass was sequenced as well, the bass is no real instrument. Everyone who would have tried to beatmap the drums would have noticed that Grohl must be as precise as a metronome. The guitar was played by myself, I tried to sneak in the Brasil anthem before School and after I hate myself, some might have heard that, no one seemed to mention it though.
Throughout Jenny and School there was no bass guitar at all if I remember correctly. The lyrics of School were transposed to a slower speed while preserving the pitch and taken from the french December 1991 SBD concert. The crowd noises were taken from the encore break and the end of Reading 1992. After mixing everything, I applied a reverb to the overall mixdown and enveloped the EQ to make it sound all muddy and hard to decipher. At the end I taped everything to the oldest cassette I could find, and taped it back to my computer and made the mp3s of it.
I then went to the nirvanaspirit hub and tried to spread the files.
So much for my somewhat psychotic work. Feel free to publish these words on LN. I know people will flame the fuck out of me, but well... all I can say is "sorry", so please take my word.
